Bunny and Seed China Mug by Sophie Allport
What's the difference between a hare and a bunny?
Hares and bunnies look similar to the untrained eye, but they are in fact different species. And it's not necessarily that easy to tell the difference. A lot of the things that differ between bunnies and hares aren't obvious when you look at them - they have different diets, and their living conditions are completely different, but you wouldn't know that just from seeing one sitting alone in a meadow twitching its cute nose at you. Hares tend to be larger than bunnies, but of course there are some breeds of bunny that are very big. Hares are quite solitary and bunnies are much more social, so if you see a group of fluffy, long-eared lagomorphs (that's bunnies to the rest of us) then they're most likely rabbits. And hares tend to have longer ears and longer hind legs, so if you see a large, lone "bunny" with long hind legs and very long ears, it's probably a hare. Unless it's a bunny.
The Bunny and Seed mug is a new addition to the Sophie Allport range for 2015 and as usual it's an understated, unfussy design which does not obscure the natural translucency of the fine, white bone china, which truly glows when it catches the light.
All of the Sophie Allport mugs in the Heart to Home collection come in an attractive, individual gift box, which is a boon if you're planning on giving it as a present because a mug is a devil to wrap, but anyone can wrap a cube!
Dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
Volume: 275 ml
Height: 8.3cm (3.2")
