This vintage pheasant print hob cover will protect the lids of your Aga or range as well as bringing a little heart into your home. That, after all, is what we're here for.
Heart to Home's Pheasant Hob Covers, in common with the majority of the lovely things we carefully select for our collection, is inspired by traditional countryside living. But it's not just for country people - it's for everyone, no matter how far you might be from the nearest farmyard. You don't have to live in a rustic cottage with hot and cold running farm animals to enjoy a glimpse of the fields and dales on your hob lids. In fact, if you live in the city and yearn for the countryside, you're in more need than most.
We have a rule at Heart to Home that everything has to be practical as well as desirable and of course with our own range of products, it's a given that we'll only use the best quality materials and first-rate needlework. For the heat-proof filling, we've used a polyester felt made made from recycled plastic bottles by Fybagrate in West Yorkshire. The felt is specially produced to meet the insulation specification required to pass BS 6526 for domestic oven gloves. In other words, you won't get burned if you use one of our hob covers as an oven mitt.
We're thrilled with the results and we know you will be, too.
