In a perfect world these double oven gloves with chicken motif would be made from feathers, but the real world can be disappointingly prosaic. Feathers can keep you cosy when it's cold, but they're not so effective at protecting your fingers from getting burned. At least, not as good as cotton stuffed with polyester wadding. And protecting yourself from hot things is, after all, the principle function of an oven glove, so it's churlish to complain - especially when the oven gloves look this good.
